In its 83rd ordinary session held today, the Council of Ministers discussed and made decisions on various programs. Among the topics programs include the bill introduced by the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy to amend the existing proclamation development of geothermal resources.
The amendment was intended to clearly explain a negative impact on the issues are and address the activities in development of geothermal energy in the country. After thorough discussion, the Council referred the bill to the House of Representatives for consideration of the people, according to a statement from the PMO sent CLF today.
The Council also discussed a directive tabled by the Ministry of Health to determine an incentive allowance for workers of wealth, fighting coronavirus to the forefront. After deliberations, the Council decided Directive taking effect.
The Council also has a deliberation on the bill approving the supplementary budget for 2020 and on the macroeconomic and fiscal framework in the medium term. The supplementary budget and a macroeconomic framework were necessary to overcome economic challenges resulting from the pandemic and to cover the expenses necessary to prevent the pandemic from spreading.
